    • Gravatar Service: An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

  • Email Subscriptions: If you subscribe to updates, we store your email address and any preferences you provide to send you communications. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in those emails.

B. Information Collected Automatically (Analytics)

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4): We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how our website is being used. GA4 collects data regarding your device, browser, approximate location (region/city), and onsite behavior (clicks, scrolls, and page views).

    • IP Anonymization: GA4 does not log or store individual IP addresses.

    • Opt-Out: You can opt-out of having your site activity available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

  • Cookies:

    • Login Cookies: If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year.

    • Comment Cookies: If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

  • Analytics Data: User-level and event-level data stored by Google Analytics is automatically deleted from Google's servers after 14 months (or the period defined in our GA4 settings).
